he owned and operated the largest Pepsi-Cola franchise
in Eastern Europe headquartered in Kiev, Ukraine. It
comprised 5 bottling operations, 15 distribution sites,
about 5,000 people and covered an exclusive trading territory
of 2,400,000 square kilometers. His previous work experience
includes 35 years in international business in both private
and public sector in over 100 countries.
Marilyn
K. Simon

Dr. Simon has been actively
involved in Mathematics and Computer Education since
1969 and has taught all levels of mathematics and study
skill development from pre-school through graduate school
with extraordinary results. She has published numerous
books on mathematics education, scholarly research, high
stakes test-preparation, and online learning.
Dr. Simon is one of the nation’s authorities on Overcoming
Mathanxiety and online learning, and conducts workshops
and seminars for prestigious online universities and
for school districts and businesses across the nation,
and is an international lecturer on online learning and
women and mathematics.
Dr. Simon is the president of MathPower, and co-founder
of Best-Prep, educational consulting firms. She has conducted
post doctorate research at the Institute of Advanced
Studies in Princeton, NJ, and was selected as an Outstanding
Young Woman of America, and as a mathematics education
delegate to South Africa.

He handled over 500 cases
for a law firm from 1983 to 1990 in the Seattle area.
He was the chairperson of the Legal Assisting Program,
Director of the Caro Campus and Regional Director of
Operations and Academic Dean for the Bad Axe, Caro, and
Lapeer Campuses of Davenport University for approximately
15 years. He has been facilitating UIU courses for about
five years and is currently a member of the Undergraduate
Committee. He is currently Director of Client Services
for Legal Staffing Solutions, a personnel firm specializing
in testing and placing legal personnel in law firms and
related agencies.

He is the co-author of “Working
in Groups: Communication Principles and Strategies” published
in 2001 by Houghton-Mifflin Company. He is recently published
in "Online Assessment and Measurement: Foundations and Challenges" where he co-authored Chapter 8. Dr. Schuttler served as a Senior Judge for the
California Team Excellence Award program and a Judge
for the Arizona State Quality Award Program. He is now
a Judge for the Hawaii Excellence Award.
His research background is with quantitative and qualitative
methods and he has experience applying various quality
management philosophies and tools in the workplace. Dissertation

Dr. Skertich has been facilitating
UIU courses since 2000. In addition to his work as a
full-time online faculty member, he serves as MBA Coordinator
for UIU’s Online Program. He is responsible for numerous
duties that support the continued growth of the UIU Online
Program, which currently serves over 800 students worldwide.
Prior work experience included 16 years with the Zale
Corp as a regional manager of 52 stores, responsible
for opening new stores, closing unproductive stores,
planning, organizing, directing, staffing, controlling
and coordinating these business factors throughout four
districts.

a consultant and international educator in the Kyrgyz
Republic, an Instructional Designer/Technical Writer
and a Global Product Manager in IT at Intel Corporation.
I have over 20 years of Project Management experience
and hold a PMP (Project Management Professional). I am
a consultant in the IT PM sphere and a director in an
ecommerce business. I have over 15 years of teaching
experience in all venues. I am the recipient of a Teaching
Excellence Award, a Learning Partnerships Award and Kudos
Award. I have a first language fluency in Polish, second
language fluency in English and am conversational in
Russian.

with Cook Industries, and spent considerable time working
overseas with Global Companies such as Castle & Cooke, Dole Fresh Foods, Lee Brands, and Link International in a variety of
capacities. Many of my overseas years were spent in Central & South America and Japan. I am currently involved in the operation of two small
businesses. One involves Venture Capital Investments
and the other has to do with International Fresh Food
Exports, which has involved me in both the Latin American
and Asian Marketplaces.
