To all Bachelor graduates,

My name is Elyn Koo. I still remembered the way that I have chosen this master program.

Two years ago, I was considering taking continuous study as to give myself a big improvement on my life. It is not only for work but even for my own growth. At that moment, I received a letter from UIU, USA campus and promoted the master program in Hong Kong. I was also graduated my bachelor degree in UIU. I phoned to the educational center and learned that it is a distance learning program. At the beginning, I had little doubts because I was not sure that whether it would provide the same as those normal classes. But I was willing to take this challenge to achieve my goal “to be a postgraduate executive” and I have faith in UIU.

After I completed all courses, I am confident to tell all people that distance learning is good and better to compare with those normal classes. It is convenient for students because you may study anytime anywhere when you are available to sit in front of the computer. We had to post messages everyday it enhances us to learn more about different opinions or aspects from faculties and classmates. It is an effective way to encourage us to express our ideas and share different experiences.

These two years were passed not easy. It took me a lot of energy and time to work and study at the same time. I was exhausted, really. Luckily, I had fully support with those people who love me. I appreciated my family, friends and classmates they all gave me courage to complete all courses time to time.

Now, I work as assistant to Chief Operation Office in an Italian eyewear company which produces luxury brands sunglasses and optical frames. This position gives me a lot of challenge in my career because it needs good business knowledge to support it. Hope I may implement what I have learned from books in reality.
